Far and few are the wineries who can trace their roots back over four centuries of tradition and commitment, driven by a love of wine, illustrated by perseverance, supported by methods and techniques that contribute to the quality of the wine, while respecting the traditions of the vineyards inherited from their ancestors: Jean-Baptiste ADAM is one such winery. Daughter Laure ADAM is the 14th generation in this long line of winegrowers; she has created a workshop to illustrate how her family works their vineyards’ soil and the impact this has on the Grand Cru wine that you will taste, surrounded by ancient oak vats, in the cellars of the Jean-Baptiste ADAM estate – a veritable reference in Alsace wine-growing history.
