The Alsace Wine Brotherhoods Have a Heart
To mark the 75th edition of the FAV (Colmar Wine Fair), the Alsace Wine Brotherhoods are organising a charity auction of rare older vintages in support of ARAME, the Regional Association for Medical and Social Support for Children with Malignant Diseases.
The Alsace Wine Brotherhoods invite you to join them on Friday, 26 July at 3 p.m. at the Colmar Exhibition Centre, in the Wine Hall of the Colmar Wine Fair (FAV).
To mark the 75th anniversary of the Colmar Wine Fair, several brotherhoods, including the Confrérie des Amis d’Ammerschwihr et du Kaefferkopf and the Confrérie Saint-Etienne de Kientzheim, are joining forces to organise an auction of rare older vintages of Alsace wines.
The highlight of the auction is an exceptional bottle from the wine collection of the Confrérie Saint-Etienne: a 1949 Riesling from Domaine Dopff Au Moulin in Riquewihr.
For those unable to attend, absentee bids can be submitted by email to chancellerie@confrerie-st-etienne.com no later than Thursday, 25 July.
All funds raised will be donated to ARAME, the Regional Association for Medical and Social Support for Children with Malignant Diseases. Its main mission is to improve the daily lives of children with cancer and blood disorders.
