During this getaway, you will explore the Alsatian vineyard from a fresh perspective and discover the deep connection between the history of our villages and that of our wines, with the Grands Crus as their crowning jewels.
Join the Kaysersberg Valley, the cradle of Alsace Grands Crus: the first mention of a Grand Cru was born here in 1975, with the most recent addition in 2007. Undoubtedly, this is the perfect place to discover these exceptional wines, born from unique terroirs and the passion of dedicated winemakers.
Begin by savouring a high-quality local menu crafted by one of our chefs, who carefully selects seasonal ingredients. Grands Crus are the perfect companions to Alsatian gastronomy, offering a harmony that combines the flavours of these dishes with exceptional wines from our distinguished vineyards.
We offer three dining options. In addition to the traditional menu, you can try the "flavours" menu crafted by restaurateurs recognised by the prestigious Michelin Guide® (Bib Gourmand or Plate awards) or indulge in a "Starry Interlude" at one of our three valley restaurants awarded the renowned Michelin stars®.
After such a delightful culinary experience, rest in the comfort of a charming hotel room.
The next day, why not rent an electric bike in Kaysersberg to explore our landscapes dotted with vineyards and picturesque villages, all the way to Ammerschwihr?
History enthusiasts, both of the small and great kind, will cherish their meeting with your hosts at Vins Kuehn.
Alsace is a region steeped in history, deeply marked by wars. Ammerschwihr experienced tragic times, with over 85% of the village destroyed during the Second World War. Today, it has been rebuilt, and this charming village along the Wine Route hides many treasures behind its ramparts. Your host will guide you through its alleys and vineyard paths, sharing fascinating anecdotes about the wine-growing town of Ammerschwihr.
Back at the estate, you will descend into the “Cellars of Hell,” 7 metres underground! There, your host will reveal the secrets of the Kaefferkopf, a Grand Cru with a unique character that fills the village with pride, all while enjoying a candlelit tasting.
