In Kientzheim, on the Alsace Wine Route, 2km from Kaysersberg, the Côté Vigne restaurant is a must. Opposite the Town Hall, in the heart of an elegant half-timbered house, the restaurant offers a warm and inviting setting: the cellar with its wood panelling and exposed stonework is sure to charm you.
The chef, Marie Carrer, revisits Alsace’s local and seasonal produce with brio, adding a touch of refinement and influences from elsewhere… It’s always a journey for the senses, surprising, modern and respectful of the product. The daughter of Alsatian winegrowers – her parents run the wine estate located just a stone’s throw from the restaurant – Marie Carrer and her team will be delighted to suggest the perfect pairing of food and wine from the family estate: just let us guide you!
In summer, the restaurant offers a terrace in a picture-postcard setting: on the square adorned with the Schwendi fountain (also known as the grape-variety fountain), the geraniums in bloom and the sound of the water plunge you into a haven of peace.
