The Kuehns are an ancient, noble family of Ammerschwihr winegrowers. They founded this venerable estate in the 17th century; the last member of the family line, René Kuehn, made a huge contribution to the international renown of Kaefferkopf Grand Cru wines. Today, it is the estate's enologist Francis Klee who carries the torch. A history fan, he guides visitors on a walking tour through the streets of the small wine-growing town of Ammerschwihr, sharing its secrets and stories.
