Launched in 2009, the Vignobles & Découvertes label aims to promote wine tourism in France by increasing the visibility of wine-related destinations, developing networks and driving awareness of the tourism offering that has been awarded this label.

The “Terre et Vins au Pays de Colmar” destination !

Situated at the borders of Germany and Switzerland, the Terre & Vins au Pays de Colmar area is a tourist destination in the very centre of Alsace. A contrasting area of plains, Vosges mountains and vineyards, it represents 97 communes, of which 37 are wine communes and 30 Grands Crus.

The area's eight tourist offices have come together to propose a rigorous selection of over 130 partners who meet the Vignobles & Découvertes criteria.

The Kaysersberg Valley  ?

The Route des Vins d'Alsace passes through this jewel of Alsatian terroir. With its seven Grands Crus, numerous dedicated winegrowers, two vineyard routes, Museum of Wine and Vineyards and its highly prestigious confrérie (Fellowship of Wine Producers), the Kaysersberg Valley has a rich and varied wine tourism offer. In 2012 it obtained the prestigious “Vignobles & Découvertes” label in collaboration with the Grand Pays de Colmar area, as part of the Terre et Vins au Pays de Colmar destination.

Visitors will find a comprehensive wine tourism offer, comprising a rigorous selection of partners who meet the label's criteria, from wineries with overnight accommodation to restaurants, museums, tourist sites and activities and the numerous events held throughout the year.
